Job summary

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience in after-school programs or youth recreation.
• Ability to communicate effectively with kids and parents.
• College transcripts showing 48+ college credit units or an academic proficiency exam.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Site Coordinator by acting as the second point of contact for parents and administrators.
• Oversee the safety and well-being of students during after-school activities.
• Establish and enforce rules and expectations to promote positive behavior.
• Coordinate, manage, and participate in indoor and outdoor enrichment activities.
• Attend trainings or staff meetings to stay updated on best practices in childcare, safety, and program management.
• Create unique clubs for students and lead activities such as homework help, arts and crafts, and games.
