Job summary

Take 5 Oil Change is seeking an Assistant Shop Manager to lead daily shop operations, deliver excellent customer service, and ensure fast, quality oil changes while customers stay in their vehicles.

Paid training is provided with opportunities to advance quickly within Take 5. You will train staff, manage inventory, and process payments. Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in hot/cold weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience is valued but not required.
• Paid training provided to learn the Take 5 way.
• Opportunity to move up quickly within the company.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and process payment for services performed.
• Assume the responsibility and authority of the Shop Manager in the Shop Manager's absence.
• Run the floor, ensure each employee is where they need to be and customers are satisfied.
• Perform opening and closing procedures.
• Assist with counting and adjusting inventory.
• Train new employees to fulfill duties in the Take 5 way.
• Drain motor oil, change oil filters, and perform other light maintenance services.
• Restock and maintain inventory levels on the floor.
• Maintain shop, office, and bathroom cleanliness.
