Job summary

Enviva in Greenville, SC is seeking an Assistant Shift Supervisor to support the shift supervisor and ensure the production team meets daily goals in a fast-paced wood bioenergy facility.

You will back up the team leader on Pellet Mill and Hammermill operations, help train new hires, monitor tests for spec compliance, maintain 5S practices, and coordinate housekeeping and safety audits, while escalating issues when needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude required.
• Ability to develop and maintain accurate records.
• Ability to understand and follow written and verbal job descriptions.
• Proficiency in mathematics and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Assist shift supervisor in day-to-day operations.
• Back up team leader on Pellet Mill and Hammermill operations.
