Schaefer Plastics North America, LLC is seeking an Assistant Shift Leader in Charlotte, NC. The role supports the Shift Leader, coordinating people, production, quality and safety across the shift, and providing hands-on guidance on the floor.

You will help organize daily activity, train staff, monitor quality and safety, and ensure the necessary tools and PPE are available to perform work safely and efficiently.

Formación

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of production leadership or team lead experience.
• Ability to read safety procedures, work orders, and production schedules.
• Good communication, decision-making, and problem-solving on the floor.
• Documented training and authorization for machines and processes.

Responsabilidades

• Organize daily production activity and align staffing with the schedule.
• Provide direction, coaching, and on-the-job training to employees.
• Monitor safety, quality, productivity, and shift performance.
• Address routine issues and escalate as needed to supervision.
• Ensure tools, materials, instructions, and PPE are available.
