Due to continued growth, we are looking for an Assistant Service Manager with strong customer communication skills, a self-starter, and a quick learner to assist the Service Manager in leading our service team.

This role will prepare the candidate for development as a Service Manager, with the goal of relocating within our organization.

Responsibilities:

• Assists the Service Manager in running day-to-day operations in the Service Department.
• Support customers with technical issues and other related areas
• Meet and greet the public in a professional manner
• Assist with managing the team members
• Strive to meet profitability goals
• Work closely with other members of our team to exceed customer expectations
• Demonstrate the values and professionalism of our company to current and prospective customers
• Training for career growth and Service Management opportunities within our organization

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience in both management and automotive and/or heavy truck service experience is highly preferred
• Retail experience is essential
• Valid Driver’s License with a clean MVR
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and other web-based programs
• Must be detail-oriented, organized, and can multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent professional & interpersonal communication (verbal & written) skills
• Capable of multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing the team effectively
• Ability to motivate and influence others
• Skilled at building strong customer relationships
• Ability and willingness to relocate when needed
