Job summary

The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company in the United States is seeking an Assistant Service Manager for one of our Auto Service centers. This role provides hands-on experience, connects with guests, and oversees scheduling and workflow to ensure quality work on time.

You will help train service department staff, articulate warranties and promotions, and use our tools to recommend products. A valid driver's license and 18+ are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Automotive Service department experience.
• Must have a valid driver's license.
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such-as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. General Description

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands‑on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by making meaningful connections with guests while delivering outstanding service. You will also become familiar with managing the service department effectively by scheduling associates, service appointments and organizing work flow to deliver quality work on time to guest. Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To

• Effectively manage the service department as needed

• Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
• Perform a variety of manual tasks for extended periods of time, which may include light and heavy lifting, including consumer tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.

Basic Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous Automotive Service department experience
• Valid driver's license
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• No relocation is being offered for this position
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous management experience
• Previous automotive service sales experience
