General Description

As an Assistant Service Manager, you will gain hands-on experience in one of Goodyear's Auto Service centers by engaging with guests and delivering outstanding service. You will learn to manage the service department effectively by scheduling staff, coordinating service appointments, and organizing workflow to ensure quality and timely completion of work. Responsibilities Will Include, But Will Not Be Limited To
  • Drive sales goals through guest interactions, including tire and service sales
  • Build guest relationships and ensure satisfaction by acting as a liaison between technicians and guests
  • Manage the service department as needed
  • Contribute to training and development of service staff
  • Explain warranties, promotions, and advertisements clearly
  • Use provided tools to recommend services based on manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain a clean and safe work and guest area
  • Perform manual tasks such as lifting tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting for extended periods
Basic Qualifications
  • Minimum 1 year of automotive service experience
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be at least 18 years old

No relocation is offered; candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous management experience
  • Experience in automotive service sales
