Job summary

Goodyear in Baton Rouge, LA is looking for an Assistant Service Manager to gain hands-on experience in a busy auto service center. You will connect with guests, drive tire and service sales, and help ensure jobs are completed on time with quality workmanship.

You will schedule technicians, organize workflow, and contribute to training and development of service staff while explaining warranties and promotions. A valid driver’s license and at least 1 year in a service role are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of previous Automotive Service department experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Candidate must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Drive and reach sales goals through guest interactions including tire and service sales.
• Build guest relationships and liaise between technicians and guests to ensure satisfaction.
• Effectively manage the service department and scheduling as needed.
• Contribute to training and development of service department staff.
• Articulate warranties, promotions, and advertisements to guests.
