As an Assistant Service Manager, your responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing service in the Front of House
  2. Enforcing employment policies in collaboration with management
  3. Approving all Front of House side work
  4. Providing and overseeing training
  5. Setting the pace during peak business times
  6. Managing through hands-on supervision, including assisting with serving, hosting, or cooking as needed
  7. Ensuring 100% table visitation to gather customer insights and assist in sales strategy development
  8. Leading by example to develop employees and assistants
  9. Cross-training employees
  10. Overseeing scheduling of designated departments
  11. Developing promotions and conducting rallies as directed
  12. Ensuring compliance with Responsible Alcohol Service training
  13. Practicing safe food handling procedures
  14. Maintaining restaurant cleanliness and guest safety
  15. Assisting with managing guest flow
  16. Supporting liquor inventory and ordering
  17. Helping build sales with local marketing efforts
  18. Upholding the restaurant’s culture and core values: passion, integrity, partnership, and fun with purpose
