Step up as our next Assistant Maintenance Manager!

What you will be doing:

We are seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager with a proactive approach to join our team. In this full-time role, you will ensure that the physical aspects of this community meet company standards and legal requirements.

As the Assistant Maintenance Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing, developing, and mentoring the maintenance team in diagnosing problems and making repairs.
  • Providing expertise and troubleshooting in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, pool maintenance, carpentry, drywall, exterior structures, and appliance repair.
  • Establishing and maintaining a 24-hour on-call schedule for your team, and being available for emergencies such as snow, ice, or other on-site issues.
  • Managing and organizing inventory of maintenance materials.
  • Creating schedules for on-call duties, preventive maintenance, move-ins/move-outs, and work orders.
  • Regularly inspecting community buildings, including vacant units.
  • Completing tasks assigned by the Service Manager.

What we expect from you:

  • Active and valid driver’s license and personal vehicle.
  • Residence within a 30-minute commute of the properties.
  • HVAC/EPA/CFC certification preferred.
  • One-year certification, 2-4 years of related experience, or equivalent education and experience.

Compensation and benefits include:

  • Pay Range: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
  • Up to 50% Rent Discount
  • Shared renewal commissions paid monthly
  • On-call appreciation: $15/day for holding the on-call phone
