Job summary

Truck Country is seeking an experienced Assistant Service Manager to help lead our service department operations, drive performance, and ensure high-quality repairs in a safe environment.

You’ll partner with the Service Manager to support technicians, coach staff, manage workflow, and maintain customer service standards while controlling expenses and scheduling.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Oversee technician efficiency, training, and development.
• Assist with hiring and performance management of service team members.
• Manage repair authorizations and monitor workflow.
• Track and address comebacks, ensuring quality control.
• Maintain shop safety, cleanliness, and compliance standards.
• Oversee shop equipment, tooling, and facility-related needs.
• Support budgeting efforts and monitor department expenses.
• Handle administrative duties including scheduling, time-off approvals, and service-related A/R follow-up.
