Job summary

Compass Group USA at Barclays Center is seeking an Assistant Server to support dining room operations and service in a fast-paced venue. You will help prepare tables, assist servers, and ensure accurate presentation and timely delivery of orders.

This part-time, on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for long periods, and comply with safety and HACCP guidelines while delivering excellent guest experiences.

Summary

Assists servers with various dining room activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Supports servers in preparing the dining room and table sets.
• Delivers orders to the table. Busses table.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Ensures proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follows HACCP standards.
• Personal commitment to your own safety and that of others.
• Abides by all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to:
  • The use of slip-resistant shoes and proper lifting techniques.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• Ability to walk or stand for long periods of time.
