Job summary

Delaware North's Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, WV is seeking full-time Hosts to welcome guests and manage the host station, ensuring smooth seating and guest satisfaction.

This is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include potential tipped earnings. Delaware North offers weekly pay, training, and flexible schedules to support growth in hospitality.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a guest service environment preferred.
• Ability to maintain a high energy level in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
• No high school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Review floor plan and reservation book daily to create seating charts.
• Seat guests and maintain control of wait times.
• Inspect dining and serving areas to ensure cleanliness and proper setup.
• Speak with guests to ensure satisfaction with food and service, respond to complaints, and thank guests as they are leaving.
• Answer the restaurant telephone line during assigned hours of operation.

Delaware North Gaming is hiring full-time Hosts to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. As a Host, you will be responsible for welcoming guests and managing the host station.

Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.

Pay

$14.55 - $14.55 / hour
