Job summary

Marksman Security LLC is seeking an Assistant Security Director to oversee all security operations across a retail mall setting. You will ensure posts are staffed, supervise officers, and maintain high levels of safety and customer service for tenants and visitors.

The role requires 2–3 years in security with supervisory experience, CPR/AED and violence training, and a valid driver’s license. You will lead by example, coach staff, and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2–3 years of security experience in Class A/commercial real estate.
• Prior supervisory or lead officer experience.
• Strong leadership, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• CPR/AED certified or obtain within 10 days of hire.
• Workplace violence training or obtain within 10 days of hire.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Background and fingerprint check; drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all security personnel on shift.
• Ensure posts are staffed; coordinate coverage for call-offs.
• Conduct routine patrols and site inspections.
• Serve as primary contact for evening shifts.
• Provide supervision, coaching, guidance to officers.
• Ensure adherence to post orders, policies.
• Address performance issues and document discipline.
• Assist in training and onboarding new officers.
• Prepare daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Monitor overtime and assist with scheduling.
