Job summary

CAP Tulsa is seeking an Assistant School Leader at Eugene Field in Tulsa, OK to support the School Leader in daily operations under CAP policies, ensuring compliance with Head Start standards and all applicable laws.

The role includes supervising staff, coordinating curriculum, engaging families and the community, and managing day-to-day school activities; occasional remote arrangements may be possible, but in-person work is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Six (6) approved credit hours in Early Childhood Education (CECPD listing).
• 3 years of Early Childhood administration experience.
• Maintain current Oklahoma Director's Credential.

Responsibilities

• Assist the School Leader in serving as an instructional leader of the building.
• Develop and implement core components of the school's curriculum.
• Manage time, attendance, and punctuality of assigned staff.
• Observe teachers and support Instructional Coaches.
• Coordinate curriculum and instruction across service areas.
• Provide a safe environment and foster an inclusive climate.
