Job summary

Hair Cuttery is seeking an Assistant Salon Manager in Florida to lead front-line operations while staying behind the chair. You’ll mentor stylists, nurture guest journeys, and keep the team energized and productive.

You’ll learn the business side, from scheduling to performance metrics, and play a key role in onboarding new talent. The role is full-time and requires a Cosmetology license and strong communication skills. This position offers growth into management and a path to Salon Leader.

Qualifications

• Current Cosmetology license for the state you’re applying in.
• This is a full-time leadership role (minimum 40 hours per week).
• Stamina to stand for long periods and dexterity to perform all salon services with precision.
• Previous leadership experience is a plus, but a great attitude, basic math skills for inventory/cash, and stellar communication are essential.
• Bring your personal equipment daily and be ready to rock!

Responsibilities

• Lead the floor and manage the appointment book in Zenoti to ensure guests leave satisfied.
• Coach & mentor stylists using the IGROW model to reach goals.
• Ensure compliance with State Board and OSHA standards for a safe salon.
• Support local partnerships and digital campaigns to keep chairs full and the brand buzzing.
