Assistant Sales Representative – Georgetown, KY

Industrial Tech Services, Inc. has a position open for an Assistant Sales Representative to join our team in Georgetown, KY. ITS, Inc. goes back more than 2 decades as a distributor of machinery and provider of installation services. The scope of our company encompasses Foreign Trade, Installation Project Management, 3D Design Technology, Fabrication, and Design, modification and production of AGVs, Robots, and Conveyor Systems.

As part of the ITS team – you would join a team who pride themselves on quality, customer satisfaction and support. The Assistant Sales Rep will support our PE Division, with the following:

Responsibilities

• Create, input and set up new projects, invoices, etc., while utilizing our ERP system (MS NAV) to include PO, JOB, Invoices.
• Export logs and reports.
• Create and organize documents related to sales process.
• Crate and maintain filing systems – both electronic and physical.
• Create and process statement account checks and create advance request forms (TMAC, TTC).
• Write, translate, and distribute email, correspondence memos, letters, and forms.
• Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports.
• Open and process Purchase Orders and Invoices.
• Create and confirm quotes (as needed).
• Create the base input for vendor/customer registration per Sales Rep’s request.
• Assist Sales Reps on all new major projects. This includes product definition delivery, launch timeline, creating reports, data input and material readiness as needed.
• Assist with product change processes and initiate and coordinate engineering changes and product closeout.
• Assist in generating sales bids, cost summaries, report review of sales, forecast reports.
• Input purchase contract terms and purchase orders and invoices into system.
• Assist with A/R and A/P reports assigned to project.
• Assist with the Import/Export customer clearance process, assign HS codes.
• Assist with deadlines, assign responsibilities, monitor and summarize project progress.
• Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
• Must be proficient in MS Office - specifically MS Excel – formula and function.
• All other duties as assigned.

Desired Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Management and/or related field and a minimum of 3 months of related or relevant experience in a professional environment.
• Knowledge of basic engineering concepts, business management, account management, materials management is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills – English and Japanese.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is a plus but not required.
