Opitz Bürotechnik is seeking an Assistant Safety Manager in Houston, Texas. The successful candidate will oversee the company Health and Safety Program and ensure adherence to safety regulations and policies. Responsibilities include conducting regular inspections, training field employees in safety protocols, and documenting safety inspections for corrective actions.
The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Health & Safety and has 3-5 years of experience in the construction industry. Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with construction safety certifications are preferred.
The Assistant Safety Manager is responsible for overseeing the administration of the company Health and Safety Program (HSP) and contractual safety requirements to prevent and correct unsafe working conditions at the project(s) level.

Environment: Work is performed primarily in a standard office environment with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions.
