Hotel Saint Vincent in New Orleans is seeking an Assistant Rooms Manager to support the Director of Rooms in leading the daily operations of the Front Desk and Housekeeping departments. This hands‑on leadership role drives operational excellence and guest satisfaction while embodying our leadership Tenets.

You will oversee hourly scheduling, ensure shifts are covered, and lead by example. The position requires strong leadership, guest‑centric service, and experience with hotel systems such as

Qualifications

• Two years of hotel operations or Rooms Division leadership experience preferred.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with ALICE PMS and guest service platforms preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations for Front Desk and Housekeeping, ensuring staff complete duties per checklists and standards.
• Monitor response times and ensure timely guest follow up for all requests.
• Serve as Manager on Duty and lead during emergencies with appropriate teams.
• Assist with purchasing, inventory, and par levels to avoid service failures.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure VIP arrivals and guest experiences meet standards.
