Qualifications

• 1-3 years of experience in a retail environment, with supervisory or team lead experience preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Customer service oriented with a passion for assisting shoppers.
• Basic understanding of retail operations, inventory management, and sales principles.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in POS systems and basic computer applications.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team.
• A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weight.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations and ensuring smooth functioning.
• Supervise and guide retail associates, providing training and performance feedback.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and professionally.
• Support inventory management, including receiving stock, conducting cycle counts, and maintaining stock accuracy.
• Implement merchandising and visual display guidelines to enhance store presentation.
• Assist in driving sales performance by promoting products and executing sales strategies.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
• Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment.
• Open and close the store as needed, managing cash handling and reconciliation.
• Act as a role model for staff, demonstrating excellent customer service and salesmanship.
