Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Palm Beaches & Treasure Coast is seeking an Assistant Retail Store Manager to support daily store operations, staff, training, scheduling, and adherence to Goodwill’s mission and Core Values.

You’ll collaborate with the Store Manager, promote excellent customer service, manage cash handling and inventory, and help drive performance while upholding safety and compliance standards for a welcoming retail environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of management/supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must have a reliable means of transportation.

Responsibilities

• Support the Store Manager in hiring, training, and supervising team members.
• Help manage daily store operations, including scheduling, cash handling, and inventory.
• Promote exceptional customer service and uphold Goodwill’s safety and compliance standards.
• Ensure proper handling of donations and maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment.
• Monitor store performance and assist with reports, budgets, and loss prevention.
