Job Summary

The Assistant Salon Director maintains a high-energy, positive environment, demonstrating behaviors that support client-centric service. They help drive store performance, foster superior customer service, and maintain operational excellence to meet or exceed productivity goals. They manage and supervise Tanning Consultants, lead by example, and ensure an exceptional client experience.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily salon operations in a fast-paced setting.
  • Lead by example in creating a client-focused experience and meeting sales goals.
  • Maintain a professional, clean salon environment.
  • Set clear goals for team members and provide coaching and feedback.
  • Generate sales reports, manage inventory, and assist with other managerial tasks.
  • Support the Salon Director in revenue and expense control.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels for productivity and customer service while managing labor costs.
  • Work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed, with reliable transportation for banking tasks.
  • Typically work five days a week, approximately 40-45 hours, depending on employment status.
Qualifications & Experience
  • College education preferred but not required.
  • Management or sales experience preferred but not mandatory.
  • Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to manage multiple situations in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of customer service techniques and operational practices.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, mentoring, and team-building skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and delegate tasks.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Ability to bend, lift, and perform cleaning tasks as required.
