Job summary

CEC Entertainment is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead a team in a fast-paced family entertainment venue. You will help ensure every guest leaves happy by delivering strong guest service and managing daily operations.

The role focuses on coaching staff, maintaining safety standards, and driving sales while managing costs and scheduling. It requires a 40-hour workweek and a background in people management, ideally in food service.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 40 hours a week.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older (RVP approval may allow for hiring at the age permitted by local law for selling, ringing up, checking identification and serving alcohol)
• Minimum of one year of experience managing people, preferably in the food service industry OR experience as an Opening Coordinator for at least six months

Responsibilities

• Make daily decisions involving time management, staff scheduling, cleanliness and guest service standards.
• Build sales and maximize profits by recruiting, training, developing and motivating your team.
• Coach and inspire the team to deliver outstanding guest service and ensure a safe, clean, and run environment.
• Understand cost control procedures, inventory, financials, and labor management.
• Take ownership of an Area of Impact (AOI) and rotate through Kitchen, Sales, Showroom, and Gameroom operations.
• Oversee pizza dough preparation, cook pizza and other menu items, and manage ordering and food safety in the Kitchen
