Role Overview

Are you an experienced retail professional with a passion for high-volume environments and leadership? We are seeking a Corridor Kitchen Assistant Manager at the Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). If you thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and seek a challenging, rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities
  • Manage all retail and customer service activities, supervise team performance, and ensure tasks and goals are met.
  • Lead and develop the team by recruiting, training, and communicating effectively, maintaining guest service standards.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, display presentations, and monitor inventory.
  • Handle office management tasks such as funds, media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
  • Assist in sales forecasting and budgeting by analyzing sales reports.
  • Address routine issues and escalate complex problems as necessary.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; associate’s degree preferred.
  • At least 2 years in retail management or supervisory roles, with 1 year in bar management.
  • Proficient in MS Office and POS systems, with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with all levels, resolve conflicts, and manage diverse teams.
