We have an exciting opportunity for a Corridor Kitchen Assistant Manager at Detroit Metropolitan Wayne County Airport (DTW). If you thrive in a fast-paced retail setting and seek a challenging, rewarding role, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

• Manage Retail and Customer Service Activities: Supervise and evaluate team members, ensuring tasks and goals are met, and provide feedback including disciplinary actions.
• Lead and Develop Your Team: Recruit, train, and communicate with retail travel experts. Develop daily goals, assign tasks, and maintain guest service standards and brand guidelines.
• Systems and Processes: Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Merchandising and Displays: Maintain merchandising standards, display presentations, signage, and monitor inventory levels.
• Office Management: Handle funds, media, receiving, inventory, purchasing, scheduling, and payroll.
• Forecasting and Budgeting: Monitor sales performance through reports and market comparison shopping.
• Problem Solving: Address routine issues and escalate complex problems as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Educational Background: High School Diploma or equivalent; associate's degree or coursework preferred.
• Experience: 2+ years in retail management, including at least 1 year in bar management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and POS systems; strong organizational skills.
• Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively across all levels and resolve conflicts professionally.
