Job description

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Assistant Restaurant Manager to help oversee daily operations and support the Restaurant Manager in leading a successful team. With at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial restaurant role, the ideal candidate will assist in managing staff, enhancing customer service, and ensuring smooth operational flow. This role is ideal for someone looking to grow into a full restaurant management position.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with managing daily restaurant operations, both front- and back-of-house
  • Supervise, train and support team members to ensure service standards are met
  • Address and resolve guest concerns in a professional and timely manner
  • Help manage inventory, ordering and stock control
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in scheduling and labor management
  • Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations
  • Ensure cleanliness, organization and service quality at all times
  • Step into the Restaurant Manager role as needed during absences
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a restaurant supervisory or assistant management role
  • Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems and restaurant operations
  • Ability to handle high-pressure situations with professionalism
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Food Safety Certification (preferred)
