The Nitty-Gritty:

What exactly you will be doing…

In helping you understand your role in working for a progressive, environment-conscious, world-class organization, here is a list of your essential responsibilities. Please note this list is not exhaustive and you may be asked to perform other tasks as needed to provide an "out of this world" customer service experience:

  • Communication: Monitor and track information flow from your superiors, hotel, and culinary teams; distribute it to your teammates. Manage communication between guests and all involved areas, including special requests, needs, issues, and recovery opportunities. Clearly communicate expectations each shift and maintain consistency.
  • Guest Interaction: Be present on the floor to stay informed about guest experiences. Detail and confirm guest profiles, communicate with FOH and BOH, handle guest issues confidently, and actively participate in solutions.
  • Leadership: Keep your team motivated, focused, and aligned with standards and service quality. Provide clear and concise directions, and be a role model for your team.
  • Communication with Kitchen and Front Desk: Relay food issues, VIPs, reservations, and business level changes effectively.
  • Team Coordination: Manage daily tasks such as scheduling, staff adjustments, driving revenue through competitions, and ensuring operational standards are met.
  • Training: Assist in onboarding, deliver consistent training, conduct regular check-ins, and ensure new team members are properly equipped and trained.

Background must-have:

  • Legal ability to work in the USA.
  • TIPS certification and Food Handlers Cards on file.
  • Adherence to safety, health, and liquor laws.
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • 1-2 years’ experience in a full-service restaurant or lounge, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
  • Clear, pleasant communication skills in English, both in person and via phone.
  • Proficiency in computer skills.
