Job description

• Oversee daily restaurant operations and ensure a superior guest experience
• Organize, plan and direct dining room service, front-of-house and beverage programming
• Collaborate with the General Manager to analyze and recommend methods to drive sales and manage profitability
• Help manage operating hours and controllable spending, including payroll, COGS and invoicing
• Manage the beverage program and maintain relationships with purveyors
• Manage and submit inventory and participate in menu development
• Assist with hiring, training, developing, scheduling and evaluating employees
• Conduct daily line-ups, staff programs and evaluations of restaurant service performance
• Enforce sanitation, safety, dress code and cash-handling standards
• Interact with guests, obtain feedback and resolve issues and complaints

Requirements

• 4-5 years restaurant experience
• 1 year management experience
• Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours)
