The IHOP Restaurant Manager reports directly to the General Manager and supervises the restaurant's employees. The primary responsibilities include managing front and back of house operations with a focus on profitability and sales growth, while maintaining IHOP's standards of quality and service.

Responsibilities Include

1. Executing annual financial, marketing, guest service, and HR objectives as per IHOP SOP and operations plan.
2. Developing and maintaining professional relationships with employees and franchisee organization.
3. Managing the restaurant floor, engaging with guests, and handling complaints professionally.
4. Ensuring compliance with SOP in recruitment, training, food safety, sanitation, and security.
5. Supervisory duties such as hiring, training, performance appraisal, and employee discipline.
6. Completing reports and maintaining personnel files accurately and timely.
7. Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, interpret safety and operational documents, and write routine reports.
• Basic computer skills including Email, MS Excel, MS Word are a plus.
• Must have IHOP management/crew chief experience.
