Job summary

Cache Creek Casino Resort is seeking a Food & Beverage Supervisor/Assistant Manager to provide consistent, high-quality service in our restaurant and manage the front-of-house team. You will lead daily service, train staff, and coordinate with the kitchen to ensure smooth operations.

Applicants should have 1–3 years in a high-volume setting, strong leadership, and the ability to operate the POS system; must be at least 21 years old. This role offers growth opportunities and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor/Assistant Manager in a high-volume, 24-hour operation.
• Ability to train, coach, and develop staff to meet service standards.

Responsibilities

• Promote Cache Creek Casino Resort in a positive manner.

• Train staff weekly on sequence of service standards.
• Manage operations of shift, including assignments, breaks, coaching and scheduling.
• Coordinate with support departments for smooth operations.
• Hold daily pre-shift meetings.
• Oversee safety and sanitation throughout the restaurant.
• Conduct daily walk-throughs of the physical plant for preventive maintenance.
• Communicate shift information in the Log-Book.
• Operate the Point of Sale System and run daily reports.
• Order provisions through the automated requisition system.
• Other duties as assigned

Summary

Provide consistent high quality service to all guests who dine in the restaurant. This is obtained by leadership and management of front of the house team while maintaining open two-way communication with restaurant chef and culinary team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Qualifications

Education And/or Experience

One to three years experience as a Food & Beverage Supervisor/Assistant Manager in high volume three meal/24 hour a day operation or similar customer service environment. Server experience required. Ability to handle high stress situations. High level of patience is also required. Must enjoy working with people.

Age Requirement

Must be at least 21 years of age.

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
