THE ROLE

The Assistant Restaurant Manager reports directly to the Restaurant Manager. This role requires both strategic thinking and hands-on involvement. You will need to identify needs, implement solutions, and support the team in a proactive manner. As part of a growing company, adaptability and a willingness to get involved at all levels are essential.

What You Will Do

  • Uphold and model the company's principles of People, Place and Character, fostering a collaborative and hospitable environment.
  • Participate in recruitment, training, scheduling, supervision, coaching, and motivation of restaurant, bar, and in-room dining staff to develop talent and ensure excellent service.
  • Coordinate with the Culinary Department to ensure proper setup, food & beverage standards, and guest requests are met.
  • Review reservations and staffing reports to plan and allocate resources effectively.
  • Manage inventory and control breakage/loss; oversee cleanliness and maintenance of all restaurant and public areas.
  • Assist in other food & beverage departments as needed.

Required

Experience in restaurant management, leadership skills, excellent communication, and organizational abilities.

Preferred

Experience in hospitality industry, knowledge of food and beverage operations, and team development skills.
