We are looking for an Assistant Restaurant Manager to assist the Restaurant Director with all aspects of our business. You must have an eye for detail, hold a high level of technological knowledge and performance, and enjoy working with and leading others.

To be successful in this role, you'll need management skills and experience in both the front and back of the house. You must know how to oversee the dining room, check in with customers, and balance seating capacity. Previous bar management experience is required. We expect you to lead by example and uplift our staff during busy moments in our fast-paced environment. Ultimately, you will help ensure our restaurant runs smoothly and customers have pleasant dining experiences.

Essential Job Functions
  • Assist with the daily Front of the House and Back of the House restaurant operations including scheduling, ordering, reservations, events, and all elements of the bar.
  • Deliver superior service and maximize customer satisfaction.
  • Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints.
  • Control cash and other receipts by adhering to cash handling and reconciliation procedures.
  • Develop and train team members, appraise staff performance, and ensure restaurant policies are followed.
  • Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety regulations.
  • Suggest ways to reach a broader audience, such as discounts and social media ads.
  • You are a good fit if you are warm, inclusive, trustworthy, and able to develop people, enjoy the hustle of hospitality, and want to grow your career.
  • Require 3+ years of restaurant management experience.
  • Extensive food and beverage knowledge, including ingredient and dish recall.
  • Previous bar management experience.
  • Strong leadership and motivational skills to guide a fast-paced team.
  • Basic food safety knowledge.
  • Flexible with hours, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
  • Familiarity with restaurant management software like Micros POS and Open Table.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, walk, push, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform physical movements as required.
