Job summary

Church’s Chicken is seeking an Assistant Restaurant General Manager to support the Restaurant General Manager and Market Leader in delivering the brand and guest experience. This role drives sales growth, operational excellence, and profitability while ensuring compliance with policies and health standards.

The ARGM leads by example, develops team members, and ensures the restaurant operates safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years’ experience in QSR industry/full-service concept is preferred.
• ServSafe Certified (required or ability to obtain).
• Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; great telephone manner.
• Excellent organizational skills; detail oriented; accurate.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and math skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision, under pressure.
• Proven ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, and promote learning, development, and career growth.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license, insurance, and use personal vehicle to make bank deposits and travel to other locations.

Responsibilities

• Support the Restaurant General Manager in recruiting, hiring, training, developing, and retaining high-performing restaurant team members.
• Ensure all employees are trained and certified per Church’s Chicken programs.
• Lead a diverse team to achieve performance and development goals.
• Act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the RGM.
• Execute brand standards and ensure high-quality food and guest service.
• Maintain facilities, equipment, and grounds to safety standards.
• Manage inventory, ordering, and waste to protect profitability.
• Ensure cash handling procedures and audits are in place and followed.
• Support local store marketing efforts and customer attraction.
