Job summary

Devereux Pocono Center in Newfoundland, PA seeks an Assistant Residential Manager to assist individuals with ADLs and participate in developing, implementing, and evaluating the residential program. Starting pay is $20.52 per hour with additional shift differentials and a TOB Exchange program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, management and/or related health degree OR high school diploma with at least three years experience in a residential treatment setting.
• Minimum of two years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
• At least 6 months of supervisory experience.
• Valid driver's license.

Located in Newfoundland, PA with group homes across four counties, this position is responsible for assisting individuals with activities of daily living and sharing in the development, implementation and evaluation process for overall residential operation.

Payrates: Starting rate $20.52 hr

Build your own rate up with the shift differential and our TOB Exchange program!

- Exchange 40 hours of Time Off for an additional .38 cents per hour, or 80 hours for an additional .77 cents per hour!

- Additional $0.30 Evening shift differential, $0.50 Overnight shift differential

- Additional .29 cents per hour is you have an active C.N.A.

- Earn an extra $1.00/hour to your base pay if you have an active NADSP Level 1 Certification

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in education, social sciences, management and/or realted health degree ORhigh school diploma or GED withat least three years experience in a residential treatment setting required.

Experience: Candidate must possess a minimum of two years experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Must possess at least6 months of supervisory experience. Must have a valid driver's license.

Physical Requirements: Pre-employment physical required. Significant and frequent amounts of walking, sitting, stooping, bending & standing required. Frequent planned, outside activities causing exposure to sunlight and heat. Speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate effectively by phone or in person at normal volumes. Vision adequate to read correspondence, computer screen, forms, etc. Good manual dexterity.
