Job summary

COMHAR, Inc. invites an Assistant Residential Director to lead day-to-day operations of the ID Residential program in Philadelphia, supervising Site Managers and Direct Support Professionals. The role manages scheduling, budgeting, and program logistics to ensure high-quality services.

The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work or human services with at least four years in the field and one year of supervisory experience. PA regulations knowledge is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, Social Work, or other Human Services.
• Minimum four (4) years of experience in the human service field.
• One (1) year of supervisory/administrative experience.
• Knowledge of PA State 6100 and 6400 regulations.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily residential operations within the ID Residential program.
• Supervise Site Managers and Direct Support Professionals.
• Develop and oversee program budget within approved limits.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and liaison with external agencies.
• Oversee onboarding, training, and staff engagement.
• Maintain safe, license-ready residences and complete inspections.
