Job summary

Justice Resource Institute in Swansea Wood School is seeking an Assistant Residential Director to support the Residential Director and provide care and treatment to our students in a 24-hour residential setting. This role requires supervisory experience, a valid driver's license, and availability for evenings and weekends.

The position offers a pay range of $55,000 to $65,000 per year plus comprehensive benefits, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years of age and have experience in a residential or mental health setting.
• Experience at a supervisory or management level in a residential setting is required.
• Must maintain a valid driver’s license for transporting clients.
• Available to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in oversight of the Residential Department with the Residential Director and provide care and treatment to students.
• Assist in ensuring Residential systems are followed daily and provide on-call coverage.
• Oversee scheduling procedures; maintain staffing ratios and enforce disciplinary actions as needed.
• Lead residential meetings and trainings, and run shifts when needed.

Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI Provides Training So That:

• YOU will be able to assist in oversight of the Residential Department with the Residential Director and provide care and treatment of our students.
• YOU will be able to assist in ensuring all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis and provide on call coverage.
• YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures; staffing ratios are being met at all times and provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
• YOU will be able to lead residential meetings and trainings, and runs residential shifts when needed.

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age.
• Experience in a residential or mental health setting is required.
