Job summary

Justice Resource Institute is seeking an Assistant Residential Director to oversee the Residential Department with the Residential Director and to provide care and treatment for students in a 24-hour residential setting. The role requires supervision and a valid driver's license, with evening and weekend shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Residential Department with Residential Director and provide care and treatment of students.
• Ensure Residential systems are followed and provide on-call coverage.
• Provide scheduling oversight; ensure staffing ratios; take disciplinary action when needed for Residential Staff.
• Lead residential meetings and trainings, and run shifts when needed.

Swansea Wood School is a residential treatment setting for adolescents that specializes intraumainformed care.Swansea Wood provides 24-hour comprehensive care including a school on site, a full clinical staff, nursing staff, and direct care staff.

Compensation

The pay range for this position is $55,000 to $65,000 per year. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.

Due to the nature of our work and the youth who are depending on us, there are times where overtime may be mandated.

JRI Provides Training So That:

• YOU will be able to assist in oversight of the Residential Department with the Residential Director and provide care and treatment of our students.
• YOU will be able to assist in ensuring all Residential systems are being followed and completed on a daily basis and provide on call coverage.
• YOU will be able to provide constant oversight of scheduling procedures; staffing ratios are being met at all times and provide accountability and disciplinary action decisions as needed for all Residential Staff.
• YOU will be able to lead residential meetings and trainings, and runs residential shifts when needed.

Requirements
