Job summary

AIM Services Inc. is seeking an Assistant Residential Community Habilitation Manager to support day-to-day operations across the agency as needed. You will assist the Community Habilitation Manager, supervise DSPs, document programs, and ensure quality services are delivered in a supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The role emphasizes adherence to policy, safety, and monthly reporting, with a focus on collaboration and continuous program improvement.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in the field of DD (developmental disability).
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Managerial/supervisory experience preferred; appropriate education/background considered.
• CPR/First Aid Certification required.
• AMAP Certification required.
• SCIP Certification required.
• Program-specific training provided.
• Valid NYS Driver’s License acceptable to agency insurance.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shift routines and supervise staff to ensure quality services during shifts.
• Provide/document shift supervision, evaluations, training, discipline, and commendations as assigned.
• Implement and document each individual’s total plan of care to promote independence.
• Assist residents with personal care and ADLs.
• Assist with payroll and goal tracking as needed and report discrepancies to staff.
