The University of Arizona is seeking an Assistant Research Scientist for the Children's Research Center to advance studies in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders, mucosal immunology, and the gut microbiome. The role will join colleagues in Pediatrics and Steele Research Center.
Responsibilities include designing experiments, generating data, collaborating with clinicians and data scientists, mentoring students, and contributing to grants and publications.
Seeking candidates for the position of Researcher/Scientist III in the research laboratory of Pawel Kiela, PhD to pursue studies in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
The successful candidate will work on cutting-edge projects focused on mucosal immunology, epithelial cell biology, and the gut microbiome in the context of human inflammatory bowel disease and murine IBD models. The successful candidate will join a team of researchers working in both Pediatrics and the Steele Research Center at the College of Medicine in Tucson.
