Qualifications

  • Minimum two years of art museum registration experience.
  • Proficiency with collection management software.
  • Collaborative teamwork; strong organization and multitasking.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to write clearly.

Responsibilities

  • Arrange transportation and packing for exhibitions, acquisitions, and loans.
  • Catalog acquisitions and enter objects into the collections database; manage receipts and paperwork.
  • Coordinate with lenders/borrowers and outside conservators on paperwork and timeframes.
  • Assist installation and de-installation of artworks; supervise art handlers as needed.
  • Oversee intake, archival time-based media, and movement tracking in the database.
  • Prepare condition reports and generate reports from the collections database.
