Job summary

Bethel University is seeking an Assistant Provost to advance the academic mission, priorities, and operations. You will work with deans, faculty, and administrators to develop policies, programs, and assessment for student success and institutional effectiveness.

You will oversee accreditation activities as SACSCOC Liaison, and supervise the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Research to align data with planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in higher education administration.
• 3–5 years’ experience in SACSCOC accreditation and higher education partnerships.
• Doctoral degree in higher education administration.
• Ten years’ experience in SACSCOC accreditation and higher education partnerships.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Provost in managing academic affairs, priority initiatives, and program evaluation.
• Coordinate compliance with accreditation standards and reporting requirements.
• Lead development and renewal of articulation agreements and transfer pathways.
