Responsibilities

• Assist planning, coordinating, and supervising administrative and legal activities of the Solicitor’s Office.
• Maintain and manage individual caseloads in a timely, effective manner.
• Prosecute cases in all applicable County Courts.
• Prepare cases for plea or trial.
• Present and argue prepared cases in court as assigned.
• Perform extensive legal research.
• Examine legal data to determine advisability of defending or prosecuting lawsuits.
• Recommend criminal prosecutions or civil penalties.
