Qualifications

• Able to engage with victims, witnesses, police, and defense counsel.
• Maintain confidentiality of law enforcement records and sensitive information.

Responsibilities

• Prepare charging instruments and trial materials.
• Contact victims, witnesses, and police for trial prep.
• Participate in pretrial conferences with defense and Court.
• Respond to discovery motions and engage in pretrial motions.
• Litigate the State's case before judge or jury.
• Attend dispositional hearings and related proceedings.
• Prepare appellate briefs when needed (Eighth District or Ohio Supreme Court).
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned.
