Job summary

Legend Management Group is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to support community operations, handle rent collection, leasing, and resident relations at our Maryland/Virginia communities. This role reports to the Property Manager and involves coordinating with the service team, promoting resident events, and maintaining high service levels.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree (preferred) or equivalent experience and 2+ years in multi-family property management, with knowledge of

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of multi-family property management experience preferred
• Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations
• Proficiency with property management software (RealPage, OneSite, YieldStar preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with all community operations and activities to achieve goals.
• Manage rent collection, late payments, and delinquency reduction.
• Oversee leasing process from first contact to move-in.
• Coordinate resident events, advertising, and video tours of vacant units.
• Respond to inquiries promptly and maintain positive relationships with residents and internal/external customers.
• Prepare sales/admin reports and monitor service requests with the service team.
