Job summary

MAA is seeking an Assistant Property Manager to lead leasing and resident services within a multifamily community. You will collect rents, post payments, inspect units after move-out, and support sales efforts while delivering outstanding customer service to residents and prospects.

The role emphasizes organization, communication, and problem-solving in a fast-paced property management environment with opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma/GED required, Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 1–3 years in leasing, sales, hospitality or customer service.
  • Basic bookkeeping skills desirable.
  • Valid driver's license from state of residence.

Responsibilities

  • Collect rent and ancillary fees from residents, including delinquent accounts.
  • Post income and deposits; inspect apartments after move-out.
  • Lease apartments and handle office management tasks.
  • Provide sales and customer service to current and prospective residents.

Assistant Property Manager

The Assistant Property Manager will be responsible for collecting rent and ancillary fees from residents, including collections of delinquent accounts; posting income and deposits; inspection of apartment homes after move-out; sales and customer service with current and prospective residents; leasing apartments; office management and support.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma/GED, Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience in leasing, sales, hospitality, or customer service
  • Bookkeeping skills and/or experience
  • Valid driver's license from the state of residence
