Minimum Requirements
  • College degree or three consecutive years experience in a managerial capacity in property management.
  • Experience maintaining payable and receivable records and producing monthly financial summary reports.
  • Ability to visually inspect property at close level of detail.
  • Must be able to walk to all parts of the building during emergencies or for inspections.
Responsibilities
Occupancy
  • Prepare and process all leases and related resident forms.
  • Follow HUD guidelines and regulations including rent calculation, eligibility, verification, recertification, tenant screening, and fair housing.
Maintenance
  • Perform and certify daily and weekly inspections of the facility.
  • Monitor cleaning and maintenance activities and provide feedback to the Property Manager.
  • Supervise maintenance staff in the absence of the Property Manager.
  • Oversee vendors and contractors on-site.
Financial
  • Manage receivables, including rents and charges.
  • Coordinate rent collection and data submission.
  • Purchase supplies, review invoices, and process payments.
  • Send late notices and process Section 8 vouchers.
  • Handle tenant verifications and re-certifications.
Administration
  • Maintain tenant and building records in compliance with regulations.
  • Manage office equipment and supplies.
