HRI Properties, a leading real estate development and management company, is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for Port Royal Apartments in Baton Rouge, LA. The role focuses on ensuring efficient accounting operations, leasing support, resident services, and retention efforts while coordinating with the General Manager.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of apartment leasing/management experience, strong computer skills (Yardi, MS Office), and familiarity with LIHTC/HUD requirements.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of apartment leasing and/or assistant property management experience is required.
• Must be able to work Monday through Friday, including rotating Saturdays.
• Knowledge of LIHTC, HOME, HUD, and Housing Agency requirements is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Greet visitors, prospective renters, and residents.
• Respond to telephone inquiries to generate visits and interest.
• Tour and market apartments to close prospects.
• Use telephone and follow-up to convert prospects.
• Maintain prospect pipelines and schedule showings in Yardi.
• Process applications, credit and reference checks, and move-ins.
• Coordinate with Housing Agencies for move-ins and inspections.
• Maintain accurate information in Yardi and reporting systems.
• Assist with renewals, recertifications, and notices.
• Cultivate resident relations and retention.
