We are seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate is team-oriented, experienced in affordable housing and residential property management, and excels in providing excellent customer service to residents. Essential Job Functions

• Communicates issues and special cases to the Property Manager and Property Supervisor, making recommendations as needed.
• Processes re-certifications, assists with interviews, form filling, rent calculations, and lease preparations.
• Inspects site grounds and common areas regularly.
• Monitors the make-ready status of vacant apartments.
• Conducts home visits, marketing outreach, and acts as a liaison for residents with public and private agencies.
• Manages rent collection, follow-up on delinquent rent, and evictions following company policies.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma required; a 2-year or 4-year degree is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and property management software.
• At least 2 years of affordable housing leasing experience.
• Ability to obtain State of Illinois AMP Leasing Certificate.
• Experience with Tax Credit programs and affordable housing required.
• Strong communication skills.
• Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Positive attitude and confident manner.
• Effective interaction with diverse groups of people.
