Job summary

Gateway at Ellington seeks an Assistant Property Manager with multi-family property management experience to join our on-site team in Houston, TX. You will assist the Property Manager, supervise staff in their absence, and ensure accurate lease records and resident file maintenance.

You will handle rent collections, coordinate with residents, and support marketing and renewal efforts while upholding Fair Housing principles.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and organizational skills are required.
• Multi-Family property management experience is required.
• Proficiency with computer, internet and email usage is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Property Manager and supervise staff in the Manager's absence.
• Manage rent collections and financial duties as directed.
• Communicate with residents regarding violations, leases, and renewals.
• Maintain resident files and ensure accuracy of lease records and documents.
