Job summary

Nevada HAND is seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our North Las Vegas communities. The role supports daily property operations, leases, and resident relations, ensuring compliance with affordable housing programs and state laws.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year in customer service, basic property management software experience (Yardi a plus) and is willing to obtain required certifications within six months. On-site duties require strong communication and organization.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• At least one year of customer service experience; property management/leasing experience and LIHTC/HUD exposure is a plus.
• TCS or COS certification or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with property management software such as Yardi is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Show, pre-qualify, lease, and move in prospective residents.
• Maintain strong customer service relationships with residents, vendors and staff.
• Stay informed about market conditions and product knowledge in the community.
• Assist Property Manager with move-ins/outs and notices.
• Process delinquency reports and support timely rent collections.
• Assist with property inspections and compliance with state laws and company standards.
• Coordinate with Resident Services and Marketing to meet occupancy goals.
• Be available for on-call emergencies 24/7.
